Smart Solar, launched over 50 new products and over 100 promotions as it celebrated its 10th anniversary at Glee. Also on show were garden products from Greentree and Haxnicks, part of the growing Smart Solar product range.

Particularly popular with buyers were the new Metal Silhouette Globe Stake Lights, which create a dramatic statement by day and stunning decorative lighting patterns by night. Made of verdigris or bronze effect metal with intricate cut out designs, these 13cm diameter globes are dual function with white and colour changing options, the LED’s being powered by a subtle integrated solar panel.
By day, the Ceramic Bird Wind Chime Light is a delightful ornament that hangs in trees making a gentle sound in the wind. At night, it is lit by a colour changing LED to create a pretty light. Available in blue, red or white, these Ceramic Bird Wind Chime Lights caught the attention of visitors to the Smart Solar stand, especially when lit up in the dark room.
Smart Solar has invested in practical merchandising units and displays for many of its new products to help garden centres increase sales, with many displays also available on promotional deals. The star of the show was the Metal Silhouette Animals POS display which is a multi layered wooden unit that was of particular interest to garden centre buyers keen to create maximum impact with these magnificent solar ornaments.
