So here we are again, one year on and a major trophy to defend – the famous Wooden Spoon. But what a difference the weather makes; last year rainy and blistering winds, this year beautiful sunshine.
No time for practise this year, unless you count a ragged 3-par nine hole course in Vegas.
More importantly, this time I’m armed with top advice from my erstwhile colleague Andy Bestwick: SLOW DOWN.
Result – not last, but an encouraging 3rd last. At this rate, in 10 years’ time I’ll be on the podium.
