So finally we revealed what we’ve been up to over the last few months, with more than 350 new products launched and 4 new product categories. The biggest exhibition space we have ever had at Glee, which in itself presented a challenge in terms of staffing and organisation.

This was the culmination of a huge team effort at Smart Garden Products, and it was immensely gratifying to see not just the products, packaging and merchandising in the flesh, but also receive such positive comments from so many customers. I’m very proud of our team.

The new brand image was well received and to underscore our new diversification, we had a completely new look and scale of stand compared to last year.

I think the new Halls and layout worked well, the show now seems more like one large space as opposed to various disconnected halls spread around the NEC, and the new layout seemed to encourage visitors to walk the show thoroughly to ensure they saw all relevant exhibitors.

Our marker is down, and already we start looking ahead to 2015.
