So who, honestly, has never seen a Trunki…?!
I loved this product when first aired on Dragon’s Den by Rob Law, and even more so when Theo did his usual party trick of breaking off the bracket for the strap and declaring the product rubbish, when that was palpably an easy problem to fix. No investment from the dragons, but the owner went on to secure investment elsewhere I believe.
I have no idea if the company is successful but I truly hope so and they should be, judging by the number of Trunkis I see whenever I am travelling. Yes, I confess, I am a Trunki Spotter. I get a strange delight in seeing a small child dragging along a Fire Engine Trunki at a beach resort, or a Bee Trunki at Geneva airport or a Dinosaur Trunki in the airport car park. Or being dragged long astride a mini F1 Trunki.
Such a great idea and a perfect luggage solution for travelling with small children. Smart luggage? You bet…
