So we are faced with another false dawn of a BarBQ summer that never was…however it’s great to see the optimism of the supermarkets stocking up on marinated spare ribs and chicken drumsticks in sauces you’ve never heard of before, at the merest hint of sunshine. And us doughty Brits resolutely ploughing on and having our BarBQ even if it rains….I guess a burnt sausage tastes the same in sun or rain….
