Every year in our business we hope for a genuine long hot summer – good for the soul, good for business. However in recent years we have grown weary of the much heralded “Bar B-Q” summer forecast, only to have a miserable June/July after the tease of a wonderful May.
This year we had a sublime few days in March, but then a torrid April, and the omens for May don’t seem much better.
Maybe this then means that in contrast the rest of the summer will be glorious, perfect for enjoying being outside on sunny afternoons, great for the Olympics…and good for business.
